Scholarship Policies and Financial Support

1. International Students (Non–Government Scholarship Scheme) Enrolled in Full-Time Undergraduate Programs

International students admitted to full-time undergraduate programs outside intergovernmental agreements are eligible for the following scholarship and financial support policies:

- Full tuition fee waiver (100%) for the entire program (up to a maximum of 4 years), excluding repeated courses or courses taken to improve grades.

- Full dormitory accommodation fee waiver (100%) based on the actual residence period (up to a maximum of 4 years) in high-quality dormitory rooms (3–4 students per room), excluding electricity and water costs.

- Monthly living allowance for international students who achieve:

+ a good conduct/discipline rating, and

+ a semester Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.5/4.0 or higher.

The allowance is VND 2,000,000 per student per month, disbursed by semester after evaluation of conduct and academic performance meeting the required standards.

2. International Students Attending the Vietnamese Language Preparatory Program

- Students are required to self-finance the tuition fees for the Vietnamese language preparatory program and the Vietnamese language proficiency assessment fee.

- Upon successful completion of the program and achievement of Level 4/6 Vietnamese proficiency under the Vietnamese Language Proficiency Framework for Foreigners, and official enrollment in a full-time undergraduate program, students will be entitled to the scholarship and financial support policies specified in Section 1.

3. Scholarship Selection Criteria

Scholarship awards are determined based on the following factors:

- Admission results;

- Scholarship quota availability;

- Academic major or program;

- Applicant’s nationality;

- Language proficiency level;

- Converted high school academic results or equivalent qualifications.
