Faculty of Automotive Technology

1. General introduction:

The Faculty of Automotive Technology, School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering was established pursuant to the Decision No 916/QĐ-ĐHCN on July 18th, 2023 of the Rector of Hanoi University of Industry. This faculty belongs to School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering, Hanoi University of Industry.

The Faculty of Automotive Technology trains human resources with high quality in the Automotive field. Lecturers and students of this faculty always play an important role in training, scientific research and technology transfer to meet the needs of industrialization and modernization of the country

Moreover, the Faculty of Automotive Technology also undertakes the teaching of modules for the training programs of Master and Ph.D of Transport Mechanical Engineering.

4. Facilities

Training programs/majors are implemented by the Faculty on modern practical and experimental equipment including: 02 new 7-seat cars, 01 vehicle inspection station, 18 automobile practice/laboratory rooms arranged according to specialized topics (Engine; Chassis; Car electrical and electronic systems) to serve training and scientific research in the field of Automotive Technology. The Faculty is arranged with 02 high-configuration computer rooms, each room is equipped with 35 high-configuration computers, high-speed internet system, air-conditioning system, projector, microphone to teach specialized subjects related to design, simulation calculation of systems on computers... The School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering has 02 conference rooms located on the 5th and 3rd floors of building A10 with projectors, modern sound system, air-conditioning, full lighting used for professional activities, meeting business partners, organizing seminars with students, exchanging and discussing scientific research groups at the Faculty and school levels. In addition, the Faculty of Automotive Technology also arranges 01 open scientific research room for students, the room is designed with a creative space, open book library, projector on the 4th floor of building A10 to serve student groups to conduct scientific research reports or work in groups outside of class time.

The 2024-2025 academic year marks many opportunities and challenges for the Faculty of Automotive Technology and the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering in the process of implementing a new governance model. The Faculty of Automotive Technology aims to preserve and promote the 126-year tradition of construction and development, innovation, and become a prestigious training, research, application and technology transfer facility to meet the needs of the labor market and gradually integrate into the region.
