Robots and Artificial Intelligence

1. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS ACQUIRED AFTER GRADUATION:

The Program Objectives of the Bachelor of Robots And Artificial Intelligence are for the graduates to achieve the following within a few years of graduation, as described below:

Knowledge:

Graduates will have fundamental knowledge of computer science, database systems, electronics, and telecommunications technology in industry and civil. Moreover, graduates will gain major knowledge in design, data mining, robotic programming to operate and evaluate artificial intelligence applications, and so on. In addition, the educational program provides graduates with a thorough understanding of language programming, robots, artificial intelligence, and software development.

Skills:

Graduates will acquire skills of analysis, critical thinking, and problem-solving. Graduates will also have the ability to work independently and participate in teamwork activities. Furthermore, graduates will be capable of applying written, oral, and graphical communication skills, as well as efficiently using multimedia communication equipment in their studies and participation in scientific conferences and seminars. In addition, graduates will have an ability to function effectively in English for their major work; an ability to explore and discover practical problems; an ability to form advanced technical ideas based on specialized in-depth knowledge in robotics and artificial intelligence; an ability to provide appropriate solutions, conduct experimentation, analyze, interpret and evaluate data.

Foreign language, informatics:

- Graduates will have an ability to communicate in English at 3rd level according to the standard of the 6-level Foreign Language Competency Framework.

- Graduates will achieve advanced computer skill according to the standard prescribed in the Circular No. 03/2014/TT-BTTTT dated March 11, 2014 of the Ministry of Information and Communications.

Training period: 4 years, grant a bachelor’degree in Robots and Artificial Intelligence.

SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY AND FINANCIAL SUPPORT:

Every year, Hanoi University of Industry (HAUI) grants thousands of scholarships to support students whose family has a difficult financial circumstance. The total amount for the scholarship programs ranges from 9 to 10 VND billion. Moreover, HAUI also awards scholarships to study abroad and provides more than 4000 students with the opportunity to intern, and work in Japan, Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, and China.

CAREER OPPORTUNITIES:

The percentage of students having job after 1 year of graduation is 95%. Graduates often have career opportunities at domestic and international corporations, with the common salary being from 10 to 30 VND million per month.

- Operate, manage and direct the production of automatic and semi-automatic systems in factories of domestic and international enterprises, corporations related to Robots and AI field.

- Resolve problems, maintain manufacturing lines and equipment in factories, enterprises and companies;

- Research design and build manufacturing and production processes for smart automatic products related to robots, develop new products and technology;

- Receive and transfer new technology in Robots and AI field;

- Program, process and analyze data for systems applying Robots and AI technology;

- Teach, research at institutes and schools, Research and Development Department of companies and enterprises using smart systems;

- Consult technique, equipment business about robots and AI.
