Faculty of Industrial System

1.General introduction

The Faculty of Industrial System was established according to Decision No. 914/QD-DHCN on July 18th, 2023 according to the project of establishment of the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering, Hanoi University of Industry.

Since 2005, the Faculty of Industrial System has been continuously consolidated, grown and developed on the foundation of the Department of Industrial Equipment and Tools, Department of Industrial System - Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.

Currently, the Faculty has 10 lecturers including 05 lecturers having PhD degree and 05 lecturers having Master degree. Lecturers and experts at the Faculty of Industrial Systems are dedicated scientists with solid specialized knowledge. The Faculty ensures a high level of expertise along with enthusiasm in sharing, conveying knowledge and scientific research.

3.Majors/ training programs

The undergraduate training program in Industrial System major is built in a direction of technical application. The program is always reviewed and updated annually according to the procedures of the School to improve the quality of training and to be appropriate with the development trends of society. In 2024, implementing the School's plan, the Faculty of Industrial System is conducting self-assessment and accreditation of the Industrial System Engineering training program according to national standards and is expected to conduct external assessment and accreditation in October 2024.

4. Facilities

Majors and training programs on modern practical and experimental equipment are implemented in following rooms and practical/experimental centers of the School of Mechanics and Automotive Engineering: CNC technology lab; Experimental Automation lab; Product design and development center: Center for digitalization of manufacturing plants; Center for digitalization and basic transmission; Center for advanced automation and transmission.

Software serving the Industrial System Engineering major such as: Factory system simulation software, Plant Simulation production system; Opcenter APS Academic scheduling software; MES production system operations management software.
