Partnership signing between School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering and Hong Ha Human Resource Joint Stock Company: Elevating the quality of international human resource

On the afternoon of October 15th, 2025 at School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering (SMAE), Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI), a signing ceremony for a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between SMAE and Hong Ha Human Resource Joint Stock Company was held. This event marked a significant milestone in strengthening the bond between the University and the company, aiming to supply high-quality human resources that meet the rigorous standards of both domestic and international enterprises, particularly in South Korea.

According to the MoU, both Parties will coordinate to implement scientific services, technology transfer, and develop specialized training programs on plastic injection molds and stamping molds following Korean standards. The objective is to enhance the professional capacity of the workforce to meet the recruitment requirements of the K-Tech Institute and various Korean enterprises.

At the working session, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Tien Dung – SMAE’s Rector, provided an overview of the School, emphasizing its strengths in training and scientific research within the mechanical and automotive fields. With a state of-the-art equipment system, a team of experienced faculty, and an internationally updated curriculum, the SMAE prides itself on being one of the leading technical training schools in Vietnam.

Representing Hong Ha Human Resource Joint Stock Company, Mr. Hoang Tien Hung - Director of the Company, expressed his confidence in the School's training quality. He also shared his expectation that this partnership would expand job opportunities for Vietnamese workers in international markets, especially in high-skill industries in South Korea.

Both parties agreed to implement the following contents: cooperating on skills enhancement and assessment, including the coordination to build and deploy high-quality training programs for engineers and bachelors to meet labor market demands domestically and internationally (specifically South Korea). Furthermore, the two sides will organize short-term training courses tailored to job conversion needs and professional development for workers and businesses. Simultaneously, they will conduct skill assessments for learners according to standards in cooperation with the Korean Association. Additionally, the company will support job promotion for learners through seminars, consulting on study/work programs in Korea, and expanding the cooperation network with domestic and foreign enterprises.

This signing event between SMAE and Hong Ha Human Resource Joint Stock Company not only contributes to the internationalization of the School’s training programs but also serves as a solid bridge to bring Vietnam's high-quality technical human resources to the global market.

This MoU is expected to create an effective closed-loop cycle, being from quality training, standardized skill assessment to successful international career promotion. Thereby, it affirms the position and prestige of SMAE in the field of technical human resource training, making a positive contribution to the sustainable development of the national science and technology sector.
