Center of experimental research and precision

The Center of Experimental Research and Precision, School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering (SMAE) was re-established according to Decision No. 900/QĐ-ĐHCN on July 18th, 2023 of the Principal of Hanoi University of Industry, which operates according to the following functions and tasks:

I. Functions

1. Organize and implement practical teaching and experiments to serve the training programs in the field of mechanics;

2. Manage and develop the team of technical staff participating in teaching practical subjects of the School; coordinate the assignment of tasks and evaluating technical staff;

3. Develop and combine the construction of experimental and practical lessons to ensure the content, quality and progress of experimental and practical lessons according to the teaching plan of Hanoi University of Industry and the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering.

4.Organize short-term training, technology transfer training in programming, operating processing machines and precision measuring equipment; organize domestic and international cooperation activities with organizations and individuals;

5.Combine production, research and training cooperation and testing new technology products.

6.Implement other functions as prescribed by law and the Regulations on organization and operation of Hanoi University of Industry and the School.

II. Tasks

1. Practical/experimental training and maintenance

- Manage and develop the team of technical staff, participate in combining practical/experimental training for the School's modules and developing job position planning.

- Train, nurture, coordinate task assignment and evaluate technical staff.

- Develop standards and manage materials for practical/experimental modules.

- Directly manage facilities and equipment serving decentralized experimental and practical lessons.

- Develop and combine experimental and practical lessons

- Develop and implement maintenance and repair plans.

- Ensure content, quality, and progress according to the teaching plan of the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering and Hanoi University of Industry.

2. Training and development work; Combined trial production

- Short-term training, technology transfer training in programming, operating processing machines and precise measuring equipment

- Direct and implement trial production of new technology products;

- Coordinate and implement training combined with production;

- Cooperate with research institutes and training facilities in measuring and analyzing the results of practical products and research topics.

3. Other tasks assigned by the Principal.
