Training and Partnership Development Center

Training and Partnership Development Center is under the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering, which was established under Decision No. 897/QĐ-ĐHCN on July 18th, 2023 according to the resolution of the Council of Hanoi University of Industry. The Center plays a role as a bridge between the School, Enterprises and students to close the training cycle and improve training quality to meet social needs.

Organize and implement connections between the School and Enterprises in training activities, job introduction, receiving sponsorship, internships at enterprises for students and other cooperation activities; Organize, implement and manage short-term training activities, testing and assessing vocational skills for organizations, individuals and enterprises; Carry out tasks as prescribed in the University Charter and the Regulations on organization and operation of the School.

1. Functions

Organize and implement connections between the School and Enterprises in training activities, job introduction, receiving sponsorship, internships at enterprises for students and other cooperation activities; Organize, implement and manage short-term training activities, testing and assessing vocational skills for organizations, individuals and enterprises; Carry out tasks as prescribed in the University Charter and the Regulations on organization and operation of the School.

2. Tasks

a. Development Cooperation

- Search for partners and develop cooperation plans between the School and domestic and international partners;

- Organize and implement for lecturers and students in Mechanical and Automotive fields to practice, intern and visit enterprises outside the School;

- Receive and implement recruitment information from enterprises in Mechanical and Automotive fields;

- Organizing training seminars to meet business needs, consulting and introducing careers and jobs for students in Mechanical and Automotive fields;

- Survey the training needs of enterprises and collect feedback from enterprises on training programs and the employment situation of students after graduation;

- Build, manage and organize the implementation of career guidance and employment for students;

- Receive sponsorships and scholarships from partners...;

- Deploy, monitor and evaluate cooperation activities with organizations and enterprises.

b. Train and combine trial production

- Chair and coordinate with other departments and faculties, build, manage and organize the implementation of short-term training programs on speciality, assess skills and issue practice certificates in Mechanical and Automotive fields according to orders from enterprises and individuals in need;

- Organize, implement, manage trial production activities and combine production and measurement services;

- Receive blanks, organize printing and issue training certificates in the fields of the Center's management according to the regulations of Hanoi University of Industry and the law;

- Organize consultation, enrollment, implementation and monitoring of the training process, evaluate results; prepare records, payment procedures with the Finance and Accounting Department, related units and individuals.

c. International cooperation

- Organize and implement joint training programs with foreign universities, receive scholarships for students in the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering;

- Cooperate with foreign enterprises to receive graduate interns, do graduation projects and recruit graduates from all majors in the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering.

d. Implement other tasks

- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Principal of the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering;

- Coordinate with the Department of External Affairs of Hanoi University of Industry, with other departments under the School, other relevant organizations and individuals in accordance with the Regulations on organization and operation of Hanoi University of Industry and the School.

Development orientation of the center

The Center continues to be the focal center of the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering in proactively implementing tasks, expanding and developing sustainable cooperative relationships with individuals, training organizations, domestic and foreign enterprises to carry out strategic tasks and political tasks of the School in providing high-quality human resources and training services suitable to the requirements of society.
