Warmly welcome National Taitung University and Solomon Technology Corporation

On the morning of February, 27th 2024, the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering had a working session with National Taitung University and Solomon Technology Corporation.

The delegation of National Taitung University had the presence of Dr. Chih-Fu - Vice Rector of National Taitung University (Person in charge). Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Tien Dung had a meeting and a discussion about the foundation and the development of School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering. He also mentioned about cooperative opportunities related to research, training programs, technology transfer, student exchange, scholarships for students of School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering to study abroad.

The representative of National Taitung University, Dr. Chih-Fu gave a speech: “He had the first introduction about National Taitung University, which is a public university with more than 4000 students. This university always brings breakthrough initiatives for industry and supports to innovate local enterprises. It focuses on training programs such as: Engineering Science, Pedagogy and Humanities.

Dr. Hoang Xuan Thinh - Director of Training and Partnership Development Center, participated in this working session and mentioned: “HaUI has multiple choice for students to exchange and study. Most of them choose to come to countries such as United States, United Kingdom, Korea, Japan or Europe. However, HaUI’s lecturers always advise them to choose only a country they like the best. When they come to that country, they can explore as well as enjoy the life, the culture and the language. Currently, many students choose to come to Taiwan. Student exchange program with Taiwan universties is one of the best choice of students.

By expanding the cooperation with universities and companies around the world, School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering enhances opportunities for students to study, exchange and work abroad. This strategy helps them to directly experience learning environment and have the cultural exposure of countries around the world.

This meeting brings many open opportunities for the potential cooperation with National Taitung University, Solomon Technology Corporation and School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering. In the future, School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering will have more long-term cooperations with these two partners.
