In the joyful atmosphere of the 43rd Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20th, 1982 – Novvember 20th, 2025), on the morning of November 16th, 2025, the alumni of Automotive and Power Engineering Class 2 – K4 held a meaningful reunion and tribute ceremony at the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering (SMAE), Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI). This event marked the 20th anniversary of their graduation, demonstrating their deep bond and pride in a school with a 127-year historical tradition.

Mr. Ngo Van Quyet, an alumnus from the Mechatronics major at the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering (SMAE), Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI), is a prime example of serious academic dedication, an innovative mindset, and rapid adaptability to professional demands. He currently holds the key position being Manager of Assembly 3 TS at Canon Vietnam Co., Ltd, which is a pivotal role that requires high-level technical expertise and outstanding personal qualities.

In a warm and emotional atmosphere, the alumni of the Mechatronics Class 1 - School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering (SMAE) gathered together for the 15th anniversary of graduation. The meeting was not only an opportunity to recall beautiful memories under the old campus, but also a vivid proof of the journey of maturity and proud successes of the class after 15 years of studying, contributing and developing.

Mr. Nguyen Xuan Thanh, a young man from Hai Phong, has had a passion for exploring, manufacturing and improving machinery and equipment since his childhood. It was this passion that led him to pursue the field of Mechanical Engineering when he became a student at Hanoi University of Industry. As an alumnus of the 2008-2012 course (CK5-K3) of School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering (SMAE), Nguyen Xuan Thanh is always remembered by teachers as a young and energetic student, constantly learning and striving to assert himself in science and technology.

On April 26th, School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering joyfully welcomed back the alumni of class CK4-K6 for a visit, marking their 10th graduation anniversary. Their return was not only an emotional reunion but also a significant milestone celebrating the growth of a generation of bachelors and engineers nurtured at School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering, HaUI.

Bui Van Thu, a former student of the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering (SMAE), Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI), is a testament to the story of passion, effort and success in the mechanical industry. He is currently the general director of Dong Dai Huu Company Limited, a pioneer in the field of aluminum die casting.

October – in the cool autumn weather, at the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering, former students of the Automotive class 4 – K5 had the opportunity to return to their old school and their once brilliant youth. The former students met their lecturer and friends, together recalled the memories of their vibrant, enthusiastic and colorful student days.

Nguyen Duy Thanh, a standout alumnus from class 1, K15 of the Mechatronics Faculty at Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI), exemplifies the ideals of academic excellence and dynamic leadership. As a prominent member of the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering, Thanh's journey is marked by a series of impressive accomplishments in both his studies and Youth Union activities, making him a model for his peers and future students alike.
