In the list of top students at the 2024 School of Mechanical & Automotive Engineering (SMAE), Tran Quoc Duy stands out as the top student in the Automotive Engineering Technology major, with an impressive high school graduation exam score of 27.43 points.
Hailing from Phu Tho, Quoc Duy shared that his high school journey was one of relentless effort. Throughout the three years, he felt that he had made significant strides, culminating in his best performance during his final year. His exceptional National High School Exam result was a defining moment, marking a significant milestone in his pursuit of knowledge. It also gave him the confidence to join the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering at Hanoi University of Industry, where he began taking steps toward realizing his dream of becoming a skilled automotive engineer.

As a senior high school student facing numerous career paths, Duy was determined to follow his passion for Automotive Engineering Technology at Hanoi University of Industry. His interest in technology blossomed at a young age, and with his family's encouragement, he set his sights on this path early in his academic journey. By grade 12, Duy was resolute in his decision to apply to Hanoi University of Industry.
Duy reflected: "Through my research, I learned that graduates in Automotive Engineering Technology can pursue various roles, such as design, research, technology development, maintenance, repair, operation, technical exploitation, inspection, and assembly. This presents numerous opportunities for career growth."
Moreover, Duy's research revealed that HaUI is one of the leading institutions in Vietnam for training professionals in mechanics and automotive fields. The school's achievements in fuel-efficient vehicle design, Robocon, and national and international skills competitions left a lasting impression on him.
