Fifteen outstanding students of the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering (SMAE) have just been officially recruited by VinFast Trading and Production Joint Stock Company. Notably, this recruitment took place immediately after their internship and project implementation at the VinFast factory, while they had not yet graduated.
With the topic "Research on optimizing the design and manufacturing of orthopedic trauma braces", students of School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering (SMAE) have excellently won the First Prize at the school level and were nominated for the Science and Technology Award in 2025. This is not only a typical research project, but also a vivid demonstration of the application of knowledge into practice, spreading humanistic values in the community.
The annual scientific research student conference at School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering (SMAE), HaUI has long been an intellectual playground, arousing the passion for creativity, helping students get acquainted with the challenges of the research process and discovering new knowledge. Continuing the annual tradition, on May 22nd and on May 31st, SMAE organized the acceptance of scientific research topics with the participation of hundreds of students in the two fields of Mechanics and Automobiles. These two months are also the signal of the return of a challenging but memorable exam and project season. In that atmosphere, more than 800 K16 students of School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering (SMAE), Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) officially entered the defense of graduation project, the 2024-2025 school year. From May 27th to May 31st , 40 evaluation councils worked urgently and seriously, witnessing the achievements after many efforts of future bachelors.

On March 26th, 2025, the 2025 admission consulting program of School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering (SMAE), Hanoi University of Industry brought for those students interesting experience of technology, useful information about training programs and stuyding opportunity in an engineering school with dedicated and experienced lecturers as well as modern facilities anf equipment.
Joining the exciting atmosphere to celebrate the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 - March 26, 2025), the Union of School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering (SMAE) and the Union of School of Economics (SE) successfully organized The Sports Festival for freshman at the Ha Nam campus. The activity is not only a healthy sports playground but also an opportunity for students of the two schools to exchange, learn and strengthen solidarity.
