On the afternoon of January 3rd, 2025, the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering, Hanoi University of Industry organized a doctoral thesis seminar for PhD student Nguyen Hong Tien, chaired by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Bong and with the participation of many scientists and experts who are both inside and outside the School.

In the warm atmosphere of the end of the year, on December 17th, 2024, School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering cooperated with Korean Master’s Association to organize meaningful scholarship ceremony for students. This event marks a new step toward the cooperation of both sides, simultaneously demonstrates the strong commitment of Korean Master’s Association in supporting education and human resources developments in Vietnam.

With the goal of establishing sustainable cooperation and providing internship, employment opportunities for students, on December 18th 2024, School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering (SMAE) held a signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Fujikin Vietnam Co., Ltd. - Bac Ninh Factory Branch. The signing ceremony took place in a solemn atmosphere with the participation of representatives of the two Parties leaders.

On December 11st, 2024, the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering (SMAE), Hanoi University of Industry, in collaboration with Vietnam Precision Industrial No.1 Company Limited 1 (VPIC 1) organized the program "Job Seminar and Scholarship Award". This program not only brings attractive job opportunities to students of the Faculty of Automotive Technology, Faculty of Mechanical Technology, Faculty of Mechatronics and the major of Automotive Mechatronics, but also awards valuable scholarships to poor students who overcome difficulties and have high academic achievements.

Vu Kim Hiep completed the undergraduate program of Mechatronics Engineering Technology in just 03 years while the period of program was 04 years, with the Grade Point Average (GPA) being 3.33/4. Moreover, he has ranked as good academic performance and excellent training. There are a few students at the School of Mechanical and Automotive who graduated early and ranked as excellent graduates like Hiep.

On the morning of November 9th, 2024, at the A11 building, the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering became bustling with a seminar on internship programs for K16 students. In the bustling atmosphere and full of youthful energy with the participation of many students as well as the enthusiastic sharing from the Board of Directors, lecturers, Head and Deputy Head of departments and representatives of enterprises.

On the morning of February, 27th 2024, the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering had a working session with National Taitung University and Solomon Technology Corporation.

With the desire to connect, exchange and seek cooperative oportunities in many fields such as Industrial System, Supply Chain Management, Production Management, Operational Research, Automation and other fields... School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering had an working session with Advent2 Labs Consultation Private Limited to enhance the development of both sides in the above fields.

On July 12th, 2024, the seminar on the “Technology trends in precise control and manufacturing” was organized by School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering for the purpose of enhancing the expertise for lecturers and students, while simultaneously promoting training attached to scientific research. This seminar had the presence of speakers from the famous universities around the world: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Do Duc Ton - Nazarbayev University (Kazakhstan); Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mien Van - Queen’s Belfast University (United Kingdom); Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Anh - Cranfield University (United Kingdom).
