On the afternoon of January 18th,2025, the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering (SMAE) organized a meeting with businesses, partners and alumni. This event was not only an opportunity to look back on the activities of the past year but also an opportunity to connect the community and build strong relationships.

On the morning of January 19th , 2025, the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering (SMAE), Hanoi University of Industry welcomed teachers and more than 800 students of Tan Yen High School No. 2 - Bac Giang province to visit and learn about reality. This is a useful and meaningful activity to help high school students have experiences in a modern learning environment, learn about majors and training programs suitable for themselves, thereby preparing essential provisions to be confident for the final years of school.

On December, 2024, in Bac Giang city, more than 80 students had a memorable experience day in Hon Hai Precision Industry Co., Ltd, which is a large company in the field of manufacturing global electronic equipment. This visit not only opens practical opportunities for students but also ignites the passion and desire to conquer the heights of technology.

In the warm atmosphere of the end of the year, on December 17th, 2024, School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering cooperated with Korean Master’s Association to organize meaningful scholarship ceremony for students. This event marks a new step toward the cooperation of both sides, simultaneously demonstrates the strong commitment of Korean Master’s Association in supporting education and human resources developments in Vietnam.

Giap Hai Binh, who that is no longer strange to lecturers and students in the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering, Hanoi University of Industry. Right from the moment he entered the university, Hai Binh made a strong impression with his excellent academic achievements and burning passion for scientific research.

With the goal of establishing sustainable cooperation and providing internship, employment opportunities for students, on December 18th 2024, School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering (SMAE) held a signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Fujikin Vietnam Co., Ltd. - Bac Ninh Factory Branch. The signing ceremony took place in a solemn atmosphere with the participation of representatives of the two Parties leaders.

Following the success of the SETSM 2024 Conference, in order to promote scientific research activities in the field of sustainable technology and smart manufacturing, and at the same time create a forum for academic exchange and develop research cooperation between domestic and international scientists, Hanoi University of Industry is honored to organize the second International Conference on Sustainability and Emerging Technologies for Smart Manufacturing - SETSM 2025.

On December 11st, 2024, the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering (SMAE), Hanoi University of Industry, in collaboration with Vietnam Precision Industrial No.1 Company Limited 1 (VPIC 1) organized the program "Job Seminar and Scholarship Award". This program not only brings attractive job opportunities to students of the Faculty of Automotive Technology, Faculty of Mechanical Technology, Faculty of Mechatronics and the major of Automotive Mechatronics, but also awards valuable scholarships to poor students who overcome difficulties and have high academic achievements.
