Candidates at the Admissions Consultation - Career Orientation Day at Hanoi University of Science and Technology showed particular interest in the engineering and technology programs of the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering, HaUI.
Amid the vibrant atmosphere of the 2026 Admissions Consultation and Career Orientation Day held at Hanoi University of Science and Technology on March 8, 2026, the advisory booth of Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) became a focal point, attracting thousands of Prospective applicants. In particular, the programs offered by the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering received significant attention thanks to their modern curricula and broad career opportunities
Stay ahead of the trend with the “Automotive Engineering and New Energy” program.
In 2026, the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering continues to affirm its pioneering position in the field of engineering and technology, highlighted by a strategic focus on: the Automotive Engineering and New Energy program. Amid the global shift toward the era of zero-emission transportation, this program is designed as an ideal launchpad for future generations of engineers. Building upon a strong mechanical engineering foundation in conventional powertrain systems, students will gain hands-on experience in understanding and mastering both transitional technologies and core technologies of green transportation: from hybrid engines and biofuel-powered systems to fully electric drivetrains. Alongside advanced battery technologies, smart charging infrastructure, autonomous vehicle platforms, and hydrogen-powered vehicles, all elements converge to equip students with the competencies to lead the global shift toward comprehensive green transformation in the transportation sector.

The admissions consultation booth of Hanoi University of Industry attracted the attention of both prospective applicants and their parents.
The “keywords” that define the appeal of the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering
At the consultation desk, experts and faculty members directly addressed a wide range of questions from prospective applicants regarding traditional fields of study that are always in high demand for talent:
- Mechanical Engineering: The foundation of all manufacturing industries, a long - established flagship discipline closely associated with the formation and development of HaUI, where students are trained in design skills and the operation of modern equipment systems.
- Automotive Engineering: With internationally standard practice workshops, students gain strong hands-on skills even while still at university.
- English-taught programs: One of HaUI’s breakthrough strategies this year is to expand 15 English-taught programs, including 3 programs from the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering: Mechanical Engineering Technology, Automotive Engineering Technology, and Mechatronics Engineering Technology. These programs serve as a key to preparing young graduates to work in multinational corporations and FDI enterprises immediately after graduation.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Anh Tu - Vice Rector of the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering, HaUI - directly shared insights and answered questions from parents and students.
Opportunities to receive “generous” scholarships when enrolling in English-taught programs.
To encourage young talents, HaUI has announced an attractive scholarship package specifically for freshmen enrolling in English-taught programs, offering tuition waivers of 100%, 75%, and 50% for the entire course.

Amid the vibrant atmosphere of the event, faculty members were always ready to accompany and address all questions from prospective students and their parents.
