School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering, HaUI signed a strategic partnership at the first Vietnam Embodied AI Conference: Pioneering breakthroughs in high-level human resources training
On October 2nd , 2026, at the National Innovation Center (NIC) Hoa Lac, within the framework of the National Innovation Day 2026, the first Vietnam Embodied AI Conference officially took place with the theme "The New Productivity Era of Embodied AI: Vietnam - Southeast Asia's Pillar". The event was co-organized by NIC, AGIBOT, Great Education Technology Group, and ECOLIV Technology.
The SMAE, HaUI is one of three educational and training institutions in Vietnam selected to attend and sign a strategic partnership at the conference, affirming its pioneering position in training high-level human resources to meet the demands of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The conference gathered over 600 delegates, including leaders of central and local ministries, departments, and sectors; representatives of domestic and foreign enterprises; research institutes, and over 20 universities and colleges. This is an important forum to discuss new development trends of artificial intelligence, especially the transition from digital space to physical environment through Embodied AI, opening up breakthroughs in labor productivity and industrial innovation.

According to reports published at the conference, the global AI market is forecasted to grow from 539.5 billion USD in 2026 to 3,497.3 billion USD by 2033, with a compound annual growth rate of 30.6%. In addition, research by Morgan Stanley (May 2025) shows that the global humanoid robot market could reach a scale of 5 trillion USD by 2050 with more than a billion robots deployed in industrial and commercial sectors.
Embodied AI is considered the next step of artificial intelligence as it combines AI's cognitive, data processing, and decision-making capabilities with physical interaction capabilities through robots and smart devices. At the conference, delegates directly experienced many advanced technological solutions demonstrated by AGIBOT, including humanoid robots, quadruped robots, wheeled autonomous robots, and Embodied AI systems applied in education, scientific research, and industrial production. These practical demonstrations showcased the tremendous potential of Embodied AI in optimizing production processes, improving labor efficiency, and promoting digital transformation across many fields.
