School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering, Hanoi University of Industry: Nurturing scientific and technological passions for students of Nam Ly High School, Ha Nam

On March 26th, 2025, the 2025 admission consulting program of School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering (SMAE), Hanoi University of Industry brought for those students interesting experience of technology, useful information about training programs and stuyding opportunity in an engineering school with dedicated and experienced lecturers as well as modern facilities anf equipment.

More than 3 hundred 12th-grade students of Nam Ly High School, Ha Nam are interested in SMAE’s training programs

According to Resolution No 57 of the Party on the development of science, technology, innovation and digital transformation which creates breakthrough for the country, SMAE identified pioneered role in training high-quality human resources in technology and engineering fields. Training programs of SMAE always are updated and innovated, aiming for international accreditation according to ABET standards (USA), while focusing on developing specialized teaching programs in English and international joint program. The School focuses on science and technology activities, innovation among students, and at the same time establishes strategic cooperative relationships with many businesses and research institutes in scientific research and technology transfer. This is a solid launching pad for students to confidently integrate and acquire knowledge of advanced science, ready to participate in the global labor market.

Continuing the admission consulting series, in February and March, SMAE participated in the admissions consulting and career guidance series in the provinces of Vinh Phuc, Hai Duong, Hai Phong, Bac Ninh, Thanh Hoa and most recently at Hanoi University of Science and Technology. At the admission consulting and career guidance session for Nam Ly High School students - Ha Nam, Associate Professor. Dr. Nguyen Anh Tu - Vice Rector of SMAE provided useful information about admissions consulting activities, helping students to better understand the school's majors/training programs and at the same time ignite the passion for scientific research for them. Scientific research activities will be the key for students to not only master professional knowledge but also practice critical thinking, problem-solving skill and the spirit of daring to think, daring to do, which are indispensable qualities of an engineer, a scientist in the new era. According to him, promoting scientific research among students not only improves the quality of training but also serves as a launching pad for bold startup ideas, contributing to creating scientific and technological talents, contributing to the development of the country.
