School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering received Moldex3D software sponsorship from Coretech System Co., Ltd with the value being 3.9 million dollars
In the context of the manufacturing industry's urgent demand for high-quality human resources, on the morning of November 4, 2025, School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering (SMAE) officially received a sponsorship from Coretech System Co., Ltd., consisting of 75 licenses of Moldex3D software with a total value of 3.9 million dollars. This is the world's leading software for plastic injection molding simulation and analysis, widely applied in the automotive, aviation, and electronics industries. This sponsorship will assist lecturers, trainees, and students of the School in enhancing the quality of teaching, research, and practice in the field of plastic injection mold design and optimization
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Tien Dung - SMAE’s Rector, emphasized the importance of cooperation with domestic and foreign partners. Thanks to these effective collaborations, students can access advanced technology, meeting job requirements immediately upon graduation. Recently, the effective utilization of the Moldex3D demo version donated by the company has yielded positive results. SMAE’s students applied this software to participate in the mold design competition organized by the Vietnamese-Japanese Club and excelled in winning the "Best Technical Team" award. Based on practical implementation, lecturers and students have researched many scientific topics with high application potential, which were highly appreciated by the Professional Council. With the receipt of the official copyright, the School commits to effectively exploiting the software, helping learners access modern technology, and improving practical and research capabilities.
