On the afternoon of March 4, 2026, the institutional-level evaluation and acceptance committee conducted the final review of the university-level scientific research project entitled “Research on the development of a behavioral model for composite shells with a layered biomimetic core structure and piezoelectric surface layers.” The project is led by MSc. Tran Thi Thu Thuy - Vice Dean of the Faculty of Engineering foundation.

On January 30st, 2026, PhD Candidate Nguyen Hong Tien successfully defended his doctoral dissertation in Mechanical Engineering. The research results were highly appreciated by the Dissertation Evaluation Committee for their scientific and practical value.
To enhance the quality of student research projects and standardize the implementation process, the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering (SMAE), in collaboration with the Department of Science and Technology, organized a training session on scientific research methodology on January 21st, 2026. This training session attracted a large number of students, offering them the chance to access modern research methods, report-writing skills, scientific paper drafting, and practical insights from an experienced team of experts and lecturers.
