Training in line with the Green Trend
Keeping pace with the electric vehicle revolution and global sustainable development strategies, the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering has pioneered the launch of the Vehicle and New Energy Engineering program, officially enrolling students from 2026. This program is designed to meet labor market trends, equipping students with in-depth knowledge of battery systems, electric motors, and clean energy technologies, directly addressing the demand for high-quality human resource from major automotive corporations in their transition to electric vehicles (EVs).
Training Quality Meeting International Standards
With two programs accredited by the international ABET standard (USA) – Mechanical Engineering Technology and Automotive Engineering Technology – the School has affirmed the global quality of its training, opening up significant career opportunities for students. In addition, several specialized programs programs taught in English such as Mechanical Engineering Technology, Automotive Engineering Technology, and Mechatronics Electronics Engineering, help students to confidently become "global citizens" and work effectively in multinational environments.
Talented Training Program
In particular, in 2026, the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering will officially begin enrolling students in the Talented Mechanical Engineering program. This is a specialized training ecosystem designed exclusively for students with exceptional analytical thinking and a strong aspiration to master technology. Graduates of the Talented Mechanical Engineering program are consistently among the top recruitment targets of major enterprises, ready to take on managerial positions or senior technical expert roles immediately upon graduation.
The School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering has been invested with a modern, internationally standardized laboratory and practical training system, enabling students not only to learn but also to master technology right from the classroom. Appreciating of the University's outstanding training quality, Ms. Nguyen Khanh Ly – Head of Human Resources at DENSO Vietnam Co., Ltd. shared: "We highly value the competencies of engineering students at HaUI and consistently seek engineers with the ability to master technology to accompany the sustainable development of our company. In particular, in recent years, DENSO has recruited and trained many outstanding HaUI students who have achieved high results at the WorldSkills Competition. This year, we continue to train and develop student Do Van Duc (Mechanical Engineering Technology program, SMAE) – one of the official representatives of Vietnam competing at the upcoming WorldSkills Competition in Shanghai, China."
