SMAE Students Awarded Future Energy Scholarships

On April 11, 2024, a significant milestone was achieved in the education sector as AES Vietnam, in partnership with the Center for Education and Development, presented the prestigious Future Energy Scholarships to 30 outstanding students from the Northern region. Among them were six talented individuals from the Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI), comprising four students from the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering (SMAE) and two from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering.

This initiative aims to cultivate and support the next generation of leaders in Vietnam's burgeoning energy sector. By identifying and empowering promising students, this scholarship not only acknowledges academic excellence but also fosters a deep-rooted passion for innovation and sustainability within the energy industry.

During the ceremony, the atmosphere was filled with pride and inspiration as third-year student Vu Huu Hieu, specializing in mechanical engineering technology within Course 16 of the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering expressed how honored he felt to be selected as one of the recipients of the Future Energy Scholarship. He emphasized the significance of this scholarship not only as a financial support mechanism but also as a symbol of trust and belief in his potential to contribute meaningfully to Vietnam's energy sector.

The selected students will not only receive a cash grant of VND14,000,000 but also benefit from soft skills training, learning English, volunteering to support the community and visiting Mong Duong 2 Thermal Power Plant in Quang Ninh Province.
