The Student Scientific Research Conference is an important annual activity at Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI), aiming to honor outstanding achievements in research and practical application of students. This is not only a place to record academic results but also a forum to inspire, arouse the spirit of discovery, nurture the desire to conquer knowledge and passion for creativity of students, especially School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering’s students.

On the afternoon of May 29th, 2025, School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering (SMAE), Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) organized a doctoral thesis seminar for PhD student Ngo Quang Tao. This seminar was chaired by Prof. Dr. Chu Van Dat, Military Technical Academy with the participation of many scientists and experts coming from SMAE, HaUI and those coming from other universities.

Bui Van Thu, a former student of the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering (SMAE), Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI), is a testament to the story of passion, effort and success in the mechanical industry. He is currently the general director of Dong Dai Huu Company Limited, a pioneer in the field of aluminum die casting.

On the afternoon of January 3rd, 2025, the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering, Hanoi University of Industry organized a doctoral thesis seminar for PhD student Nguyen Hong Tien, chaired by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Bong and with the participation of many scientists and experts who are both inside and outside the School.

Giap Hai Binh, who that is no longer strange to lecturers and students in the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering, Hanoi University of Industry. Right from the moment he entered the university, Hai Binh made a strong impression with his excellent academic achievements and burning passion for scientific research.

In the list of top students at the 2024 School of Mechanical & Automotive Engineering (SMAE), Tran Quoc Duy stands out as the top student in the Automotive Engineering Technology major, with an impressive high school graduation exam score of 27.43 points.

Tran Duc Do, a male student hailing from the halls of Hanoi University of Industry, is a shining example of such a trailblazer. Graduating simultaneously from two distinct programs - Mechanical Engineering Technology and Electrical and Electronics Engineering Technology - within five years, Do's journey epitomizes dedication, resilience, and the pursuit of excellence.

In the bustling corridors of the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering at Hanoi University of Industry, there is a name that shines brightly among the students - Pham Nhat Tam. As a female student with a passion for machinery, technology, and modern management processes, Tam embodies the spirit of innovation and determination that defines the Faculty of Industrial Systems.

On April 11, 2024, a significant milestone was achieved in the education sector as AES Vietnam, in partnership with the Center for Education and Development, presented the prestigious Future Energy Scholarships to 30 outstanding students from the Northern region. Among them were six talented individuals from the Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI), comprising four students from the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering (SMAE) and two from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering.

Tran Quang Trung emerged as a shining star, the valedictorian of the Mechatronics Engineering Technology major for the class of 2023DHCODT01 - K18 at Hanoi University of Industry.
