On the occasion of Vietnamese Science and Technology Day (May 18th, 2025), School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering (SMAE), Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) proudly looks back at its important contributions to the development of science and technology in the country. With the mission of training high-quality human resources and researching advanced technologies, SMAE has constantly innovated to integrate with the world and meet the requirements of modern science and technology, for sustainable development.

In the era of Industry 4.0, intelligent and automated products have become an indispensable part of modern life. The field of Mechanical Engineering Technology applies principles of physics, engineering, and material science to design, manufacture, maintain, and analyse machinery and mechanical systems within the manufacturing industry. Similarly, Automotive Engineering Technology integrates knowledge from multiple disciplines, including mechanics, automation, electrical and electronic engineering, and manufacturing technology, with a focus on the operation, utilisation, and technical services of automotive systems. To meet the growing demand for highly skilled professionals, School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering at Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) has been at the forefront of offering English-medium training programs in Mechanical Engineering Technology and Automotive Engineering Technology, providing students with opportunities for sustainable career development.

On April 26th, School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering joyfully welcomed back the alumni of class CK4-K6 for a visit, marking their 10th graduation anniversary. Their return was not only an emotional reunion but also a significant milestone celebrating the growth of a generation of bachelors and engineers nurtured at School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering, HaUI.

Students of School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering can defend their graduation projects ahead of schedule, affirming their capabilities with leading enterprises in the mold and die industry even while still attending lectures. This attests to the students' solid foundational knowledge, specialized practical skills, and proactive learning spirit. This generation of graduates and engineers in Mold and Die Technology is authoring inspiring narratives about the commencement of their careers.

On the afternoon of April 22nd , 2025, SMAE, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) successfully organized a signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Association of Intellectuals for the Development of Science in Serbia – The Serbian Academic Center and the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology with the aim of promoting and developing cooperative relations between the parties involved.

On March 26th, 2025, the 2025 admission consulting program of School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering (SMAE), Hanoi University of Industry brought for those students interesting experience of technology, useful information about training programs and stuyding opportunity in an engineering school with dedicated and experienced lecturers as well as modern facilities anf equipment.

Joining the exciting atmosphere to celebrate the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 - March 26, 2025), the Union of School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering (SMAE) and the Union of School of Economics (SE) successfully organized The Sports Festival for freshman at the Ha Nam campus. The activity is not only a healthy sports playground but also an opportunity for students of the two schools to exchange, learn and strengthen solidarity.

Students of the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering (SMAE) will have the opportunity to directly access modern robot technology through the Coffee Robot model - the first step in the cooperation between SMAE and Neuromeka.

On the afternoon of January 18th,2025, the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering (SMAE) organized a meeting with businesses, partners and alumni. This event was not only an opportunity to look back on the activities of the past year but also an opportunity to connect the community and build strong relationships.

On the morning of January 19th , 2025, the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering (SMAE), Hanoi University of Industry welcomed teachers and more than 800 students of Tan Yen High School No. 2 - Bac Giang province to visit and learn about reality. This is a useful and meaningful activity to help high school students have experiences in a modern learning environment, learn about majors and training programs suitable for themselves, thereby preparing essential provisions to be confident for the final years of school.
