The School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering, HaUI Spreads the Spirit of STEM Education at Hung Vuong High School for the Gifted – Phu Tho
Continuing the journey of bringing technological knowledge to younger generations, on May 9, 2026, the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI), selected Hung Vuong High School for the Gifted – Phu Tho as the destination for implementing technology transfer activities and presenting STEM and Robotics equipment to the school.
In the context of modern education, STEM has become a fundamental platform enabling Vietnam’s younger generations to confidently master science and technology. The collaboration with high schools is not only of practical significance but also contributes to realizing the spirit of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo, which identifies science and technology, innovation, and digital transformation as key driving forces for national development.
With the mission of a leading institution in technology and applied engineering education, the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering, HaUI has consistently taken the lead in bringing STEM education closer to high school and university students, contributing to to the improvement of high-quality human resources for the nation.

Entering the third year of implementing technology transfer activities and donating STEM and Robotics equipment, the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering continues to affirm its active role in community service activities. In addition to education and research, the School actively promotes technology transfer and equipment donation programs at high schools. Through modern STEM equipment, students have opportunities to access and experience technology in practice, thereby enhancing their creative thinking abilities and developing clearer career orientation.


Representatives of Hanoi University of Industry presented a STEM and Robotics equipment system to the Board of Management of Hung Vuong High School for the Gifted.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Nguyen Van Thien - Vice Rector of Hanoi University of Industry, shared insights into the transformation of the digital era. In alignment with Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW and Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology, digital transformation, and education and training, he emphasized: developing high-quality human resources is currently a key and urgent mission, the combination of creative thinking and digital skills will become the key for high school students to confidently make breakthroughs, affirm their capabilities, and contribute practical values to the community.

Sharing at the event, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Tien Dung - Rector of the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering, HaUI stated: “With a sense of responsibility toward the community, the robot kits and 3D printers donated will open opportunities for students to gain early access to modern science and technology. In particular, the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering has recently been honored to have three talent-oriented training programs officially approved, asserting its leading position in engineering education. The School is always ready to welcome talented students from high schools to continue nurturing and developing their potential in the modern learning environment at the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering, HaUI.”

Visiting Hung Vuong High School for the Gifted – Phu Tho, a school with a rich tradition of academic excellence, the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering created a highly meaningful experiential space. Here, students not only observed modern technologies such as 3D printers and mini robots, but also received hands-on technical guidance directly from lecturers and expert.

Lecturer Ngo Quang Tu from the Smart Manufacturing and Technology Research Center, School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering, HaUI provided technical guidance to high school students from Hung Vuong High School for the Gifted – Phu Tho.

Also within the framework of the event, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Tuan Linh – Head of the Office of Academic Affairs, Science- Technology and Student Supports, School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering, HaUI delivered a presentation entitled: “Mechanical and Automotive Engineering: The Backbone of Modern Manufacturing Industry.”
At the STEM – Robotics – AI Day, high school students from Hung Vuong High School for the Gifted had the opportunity to directly experience technologies such as 3D printers, mini robots, SolidWorks software, and machine operation principles, helping them take their first steps in creative programming and mechanical design. These activities served as a foundation for students to explore their own abilities and nurture their passion for engineering and technology fields.

Mr. Phung Hoang Hai – Vice Principal of Hung Vuong High School for the Gifted – expressed his gratitude for the support from HaUI and highly appreciated the importance of STEM and Robotics equipment in teaching and learning activities at the school. He also committed to using the presented equipment in the most efficient manner, integrating it into the school's experiential learning programs and STEM clubs so that each equipment set can becomes a valuable tool for nurturing talented students.
