Workshop on internship programs for students of the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering: Opening the door to the world of career.
On the morning of November 9th, 2024, at the A11 building, the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering became bustling with a seminar on internship programs for K16 students. In the bustling atmosphere and full of youthful energy with the participation of many students as well as the enthusiastic sharing from the Board of Directors, lecturers, Head and Deputy Head of departments and representatives of enterprises.
At this workshop, internship programs and regulations were publicized for students when they conducts internship module at companies Moreover, they are provided necessary knowledge and skills for graduation internship, which is an important stepping stone before officially entering the labor market. Here, students were provided with detailed information on the internship process, instructions on writing internship reports, and experience to complete this module.
Overview of the workshop on internship programs for K16 students of the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering
The program was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Tien Dung - Rector of the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering with representatives of the Faculties and Centers of the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering and a large number of K16 students. The workshop focused on important contents such as: internship regulations, internship programs, methods of registering internship enterprises on the electronic university system, working skills at enterprises, labor safety, method of completing internship reports and answering questions for students. At the same time, representatives of enterprises shared about internship opportunities, research and job recruitment.
At the workshop, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Tien Dung - Rector of the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering said: “With the desire to open the door to the career world for students, while meeting the output standards of the modules and training programs, the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering always strives to create the most favorable conditions for students to choose internship programs at prestigious domestic and foreign enterprises, internship positions according to the majors. The internship process is not only an opportunity to access the real working environment but also a journey of self-affirmation, which helps students ton confidently experience, integrate and shape their future career path.”

Internship semester is considered as a particularly important learning experience, helping students to step out of the classroom, apply knowledge into practice and be familiar with the professional working environment. This is also an opportunity for students to learn, demonstrate their abilities and make a good impression on potential employers.
Dr. Nguyen Tien Sy – Vice Director of Training and Partnership Development Center announced regulations and introduced internship programs at enterprises.
Dr. Nguyen Trong Mai – Vice Dean of Faculty of Mechanical Technology, with extensive experience, shared valuable tips for students to complete internship report.
The graduation internship of students of the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering is one of the programs providing practical experience, fostering skills and professional knowledge for students according to the needs of enterprises and society. At this workshop, representatives of Hon Hai Precision Industry Co., Ltd and VinFast Trading and Production Joint Stock Company shared opportunities for internship, research and direct job recruitment at the factory. At the same time, these two enterprises shared thousands of job opportunities for students after graduation. The workshop was truly a mini job fair with the participation of two large enterprises in the industry. This is a golden opportunity for students to get closer to the professional working environment, accumulate experience and prepare for the future.

This workshop was held in an exciting atmosphere with a Q&A session. At this session, students’ unclear issues were enthusiastically answered by lecturers. Certainly, valuable knowledge and experience shared at that day will add confidence. It also becomes a solid foundation for students on their journey to conquer the upcoming internship, opening the door to success on a promising career path.
