Do Van Duc, batch student of 2023 of Mechanics class 1, School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering (SMAE), Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI), excellently won the Medal of Excellence in CNC Turning at the WorldSkills Competition 2026. Notably, with the highest score in the Vietnamese delegation, Duc was honored with the Best of Nation title, leaving an outstanding mark for HaUI students in the world's largest vocational skills arena.

On September 17th , 2026, the Finals of the 3rd Vietnam Mold Grand Prix 2026 took place at the Vietnam Exhibition Center (VEC) - Dong Anh, Hanoi. Overcoming a series of competitors nationwide, two teams from the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering (SMAE), HaUI affirmed their professional capabilities, in which the SMAE2 team excellently won the overall Second Prize and the SMAE1 team achieved the Consolation Prize of the competition.
