Publisher Elsevier has recently released a prestigious ranking of the world's most influential scientists, compiled by a group of researchers from Stanford University in the USA. Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) proudly celebrates the recognition of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Ba Phong and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Do Duc Trung, both of whom have been included in the list of the world's most influential scientists in 2024.

On July 12th, 2024, the seminar on the “Technology trends in precise control and manufacturing” was organized by School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering for the purpose of enhancing the expertise for lecturers and students, while simultaneously promoting training attached to scientific research. This seminar had the presence of speakers from the famous universities around the world: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Do Duc Ton - Nazarbayev University (Kazakhstan); Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mien Van - Queen’s Belfast University (United Kingdom); Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Anh - Cranfield University (United Kingdom).

Those being senior members of HaUI AUTO team: Nguyen Ha Anh, Tran Thanh Tung, Nguyen Ngoc Bao, School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering, Hanoi University of Industry have continuously innovated with fast self-development and became more successful through their participation in Shell Eco-marathon.

In a significant step towards fostering STEM education and community engagement, the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering at Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) has expanded its connection activities with Quoc Oai High School students in Hanoi. In a significant step towards enhancing educational and technological advancements, the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering (SMAE) and ABSoft Technology Group Joint Stock Company recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on April 11, 2024. This ceremony marked the beginning of a collaborative effort aimed at fostering short-term training opportunities for students and facilitating technology transfer between academia and industry.

On April 11, 2024, a significant milestone was achieved in the education sector as AES Vietnam, in partnership with the Center for Education and Development, presented the prestigious Future Energy Scholarships to 30 outstanding students from the Northern region. Among them were six talented individuals from the Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI), comprising four students from the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering (SMAE) and two from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering.
