Integrating advanced manufacturing technology into training: Hanoi University of Industry inaugurated 5-Axis CNC Machine Room.

In accordance with the cooperation agreement signed between Hanoi University of Industry and Beijing Jingdiao Group Vietnam Co., Ltd., on the morning of December 20th, 2025, Hanoi University of Industry organized the reception and inauguration ceremony of the 5-axis CNC Machine Room. This facility is a component of the Research and Talent Training Cooperation Program between the two parties, aimed at enhancing the quality of education and applied research in advanced technologies.

Throughout its development, Hanoi University of Industry has remained steadfast in its mission to train high-quality human resources by closely linking education with practical production, scientific research, and technology transfer, thereby meeting the demands of modern industry and international integration. In the development strategy of Hanoi University of Industry, the partnership with enterprises always plays a particularly crucial role, contributing to integrating modern technology into teaching, research, and training human resources that directly meet the demands of the labor market.

The highlight of the program was the handover ceremony of the JDGR400T 5-axis CNC machine system (manufactured in 2025) and the SurfMill 9.6 software suite, with a total value of 564,000 USD. The sponsorship package includes modern equipment and 30 software licenses (25 for workstations and 05 for personal computers), promising to create a breakthrough in practical training and technology transfer at the University.

Previously, on May 20th , 2025, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Tien Dung, Rector of the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Mr. Wang Teng Fei – Chairman of Beijing Jingdiao Group Vietnam Co., Ltd.

The equipment sponsorship from Beijing Jingdiao Group Vietnam Co., Ltd to the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering will contribute significantly to the research, teaching, and learning processes of lecturers and students at Hanoi University of Industry.
